Project overview

Project overview:

The new aquatic centre for the cities of Maurepas & Élancourt is set in Maurepas, slightly back from the town centre, within an urban fabric made up of housing, a sports plateau and the great Maurepas state forest adjoining the site.

The site is characterised by the presence of a significant fringe of green spaces — namely the Maurepas state forest. It runs along the western and south-western limits. This is a tremendous asset for preserving a value-enhancing vegetal continuity within the urban fabric for the bathing areas. It also provides visual and acoustic protection for the pools and the planted solarium.
