Project overview
Project overview:
The aquatic centre is composed of an outdoor Olympic pool, stands and a training centre.
The extension of the existing pool with an Olympic pool was an opportunity to create a new coherent ensemble. The project is organised in a circular form fitted into the topography of the site. The placement of the new buildings shelters the pool from the prevailing winds. The stands make the most of the natural slope of the site. A large photovoltaic shading canopy protects swimmers and spectators.
Project designed to High Environmental Quality (HQE) standards, notably with:
- solar thermal panels,
- planted roof,
- HSB welded stainless-steel pools
