An extension to enhance the existing facility
Located on the western edge of the town, in a heavily wooded residential area, the inter-municipal "Tournesol" type swimming pool, designed in the 1970s, no longer met the social demand of inhabitants and associations. Rather than rebuilding, the Community of Communes Porte de France Rhin Sud decided in 2008 to enhance the existing facility by launching an extension project. This operation transforms the facility into a true aquatic centre, enriched by a modernised and diversified offer, more in keeping with its time and the needs of users. The new swimming pool sits within a magnificent 4-hectare landscaped sports park.
