Programme: A swimming pool with a 15 × 25 m sports pool — fitness rooms — cardio & weight-training rooms — dance studio — cross-fit rooms — dojo — multi-sports gymnasium —

group dry and wet changing rooms — administrative spaces — mineral and planted indoor patio. Accommodating 4,000 people per day.

The facility, at the heart of the university campus, dates from the 1960s. Our project addresses the key challenges of its renovation: enhancing the heritage through architecture that respects and energises the place, improving its appeal to increase attendance, and controlling operating costs.
HQE/LOW-CARBON approach as part of the "France Relance" plan: our choices deliver an energy consumption 67% lower than the existing situation — external thermal insulation, heat pump on a geothermal well and 2 condensing gas boilers, new air-handling unit with recycling, perlite water filtration, greywater recovery, on-site reuse and recycling of materials and furniture, new plantings selected by a botanical ecologist… "Most sober and energy-innovative project" award at the 1st anniversary of the France Relance Plan
