Project overview:
The swimming pool is composed of a 15 × 25 m sports pool, a 300 sqm leisure and learner pool, a lagoon, a wet fitness area with sauna, hammam, jet showers, and an outdoor water slide.
The former swimming pool was built in the 1970s. The project consisted of rehabilitating it and adding an extension. The new swimming pool integrates perfectly into its environment, follows the slope and offers a sweeping view over the south-east of Lyon and the alpine peaks. Its architecture meets specific objectives: a harmonious relationship with the site, simple volumes, carefully designed façade finishes, planted terraces…
