Project overview
Project overview:
The swimming pool is composed of a sports pool (4 lanes), a leisure pool with counter-current river and bubble benches, a wave pool, a diving pit (with adjustable floor), a toddler pool with games for young children, and a relaxation area (jet showers, hammam, rest lounge, Zen garden).
The new Gayeulles swimming pool is built on the site of a former "Tournesol" pool. The project is intended first and foremost to be respectful of its natural setting and the wider environment. Many HQE targets have been met, and the architectural principles ensure a respectful integration into the existing planted park. The pool is conceived as a movement of the ground — a natural embankment from which only the south façade emerges, like an open shell. The original entrance position is preserved, offering both a view onto the lake and a general transparency through the pool hall.
HQE reference: heat-recovery system, recycled water for filter backwashing, solar thermal panels, bioclimatic construction…
