Project overview
Project overview:
Set on the edge of the historic site of the "murs à pêches" (peach-wall gardens), the facility is composed of: a landscaped park around a natural bathing pond, a swimming hall for leisure and learning with a sports pool and a leisure pool, an outdoor water slide, a wellness area with pool, hammam and spa, and a restaurant.
This project seeks sobriety in all its forms — energy, financial and environmental — in the service of a shared offer for all the people of Montreuil. The guiding theme brings together the notion of service, user comfort, well-being, durability and synergy between the major domains of environmental quality, within an economic approach that addresses not only investment costs but also operating costs and lifespan, in line with a holistic vision now widely recognised as pertinent.
HQE reference: 1st aquatic centre with passively constructed spaces (energy-neutral), PEFC-certified timber-frame construction, centralised technical management, reinforced insulation, recyclable materials, heat pump, wood-fired boiler, solar thermal collectors, wind turbine, planted roofs, salt electrolysis, high-capacity dual-flow heat-recovery ventilation, low-impact construction site, etc.
Total primary energy = 79% from renewable energies
