Client: Town of Le Tampon — Réunion Island
Programme: Construction of a swimming pool with sporting use
Areas: 1,908 sqm (including 600 sqm of water surface)

Project overview: The swimming pool is composed of 3 pools — including a 375 sqm sports pool with 6 swimming lanes, a 150 sqm learner pool, a 50 sqm toddler pool — and stands.
The future Le Tampon swimming pool, on Réunion Island, will be located on the existing sports-complex site, right next to the stand overlooking the athletics track. The project sits on a steeply sloping site, overlooking the stadium and offering panoramic views of the sea to the west and of Piton des Neiges to the north. Optimally placed, it benefits from optimal and controlled solar gain. Its opening roof creates a modular building. It will be exemplary in sustainable development.
