Tournesol Swimming Pool, Malaunay

The project fits within the volume of the existing Tournesol swimming pool, whose interior organisation has been reworked. Only the reception hall sits in an extension volume, to give it more space and visibility, while keeping access at the same place.

To meet the objectives through an exemplary project, our work was guided by 4 directions:

• - Give the facility a second lease of life, by offering a functional organisation in line with current uses and a modern architecture,


• - Provide constructive and environmental responses that are realistic and pragmatic, in line with the budget,


• - Offer a facility combining sport, leisure and conviviality for users,


• - Design a durable, secure building with controlled maintenance.
